Finding the Kure
MY STORY
Meet Kaylin, a woman of God walking in power and strength, dedicating her life to Christ. She is passionate about sharing the gospel and ministering to both believers and nonbelievers with the Good News. Kaylin is truly multi-faceted and never limits herself, having pursued many fields of work and study throughout her journey. She attended North Carolina Central University, where she studied pre-med as well as fashion and apparel design, and later transferred to UNC Charlotte, where she graduated with a B.A. in English.

She is currently a licensed esthetician and the proud business owner of Baby Gyal Aesthetics, where she believes in the importance of glorifying God in all that she does. Guided by the scripture, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians 3:23), Kaylin ensures her business reflects her faith. She plays only gospel and worship music in her space, creating an atmosphere of peace and reverence, and she pours into her clients with encouragement and prayer whenever led to do so.
Kaylin was born into Christ and raised in the church by her mother and grandmother, both of whom are ordained ministers. Her grandmother, a pastor and elder of the church, was the choir director and Sunday school teacher. Through her mother and grandmother, Kaylin was involved in the church from a young age—singing in the choir, ushering, attending Sunday Bible school, and participating in praise dance. She was also a part of the Make a Joyful Noise youth outreach ministry and traveled up and down the East Coast to minister through praise dance and worship at various churches.
In 2019, while at UNC Charlotte, the Lord called her into ministry. She became a ministry leader for Delight Ministries and actively participated in other ministry groups on campus. In March 2023, after rededicating her life to Christ wholeheartedly, she launched The Kure To Christ. After experiencing a lukewarm lifestyle, as well as trials and tribulations, she believes that what the enemy meant for harm, God turns around for good (Gen. 50:20). She started her podcast ministry to share her journey with Christ, the good and the bad. She is also currently a student at Campbell University, pursuing ministry certification.
Through sharing her testimony, Kaylin has seen the profound impact it has on others, fully trusting God to protect her vulnerability. She deeply cares for the pain and confusion others experience, but she reminds them that God is a just God and that He is still good. She will continue to lead others back to Christ during tough times because she knows that He is always the best place to run to, inspiring others to believe in the power of the triune God.
